Day 9 - Favorite Slash Couple: Touya Kinomoto and Yukito Tsukishiro. This is probably going to come as a surprise to friends who have known me for a while because I love Seishirou/Subaru with the fire of a thousand suns. But I have an incredibly soft spot for Touya and Yukito, they were my first CLAMP slash pairing, and one of the few couples who don’t have a tragic story. Even though Yukito isn’t human their story is remarkably everyday and usual. They are two high school boys who meet, become best friends and then fall in love. And that’s it, no dramatic separations, no insurmountable obstacles, no grudges and hatred. After all the suffering CLAMP puts their characters through this is extremely refreshing, and these are boys we could actually know. They are incredibly supportive of each other and inseparable. And from what we’ve seen in TRC, they are soulmates and always together, no matter the universe.
